Up and off bright and early as we have a ferry to catch.
Its only when we turn on the sat nav that we realise how far it is to Ft. William and then along the road to Malaig.
The Malaig road is a classic, railway on one side or the other and lochs and views everywhere.
We zip along in a effort to get to the ferry on time. As it happens the sat nav is set to some destination past the ferry port and we arrive in plenty time. This is holiday proper now Yippee.
While waiting for the ferry we chat to an American couple that have come to see Scotland and also to play GOLF!
Nice ferry crossing (only 1/2 hour).
Then off we go to Portree to get some lunch/soup/beer ad some provisions for the Cottage.
Then its on to Ose to out very own Cottage with a great view of the loch and also of the McCloud tabletops.
Its time for a night in to get some good home cooked food (Chicken Casserole and Chips!) and to explore the house.
We had not worked out how to make the heating work so the first night was a bit chilly!
E thinks its "Very Quiet".
