Left home at 6pm ish. S driving.
Picked up A(2)&E at 7 ish then off for a Burger King somewhere on the M40.
Swapped drivers S->A for drive through rain to Preston.
All going well until Sat-Nav sent us into centre of Blackburn.
The confusion arose because the hotel was on a very long road which had one end in Blackburn and one end (with the Hotel) at motorway junction 6 miles away. Hey ho. The bar was open and we managed a pint to celebrate the start of the holiday.
